About the project

Lectures, summaries and past exam papers used to scatter across chat groups. We brought them into one platform, organised by year and subject, and searchable.

Students share the content themselves, and the platform rewards contribution: every post can be commented on and rated, and helpful contributions earn their authors points.

How it’s built

Technology

  • Flutter
  • Riverpod
  • Supabase
  • PostgreSQL
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging
  • Cloudflare R2
  • One Flutter app for iOS and Android.
  • Full-text search inside the database, across lectures, summaries and questions.
  • Row-level permissions in PostgreSQL decide who can upload, edit and delete.
  • Lecture files and images upload straight to Cloudflare R2 through signed links, and PDFs open inside the app.
  • Sign-in with Google or Apple, and instant notifications for anything new.
  • Dark mode is the platform’s identity, with a light mode too, in Arabic and English.
